London Fire Designs was
created out of the need for a fresh alterative to the modern fireplace
products currently available. With 25 years of experience in the fireplace
trade directors Mark Swan and Max Davies called on the talents of Mark's
sister, award winning Sculptress Jilly Swan, to create a range of cutting
edge modern designer style fireplaces suitable for both Hole in the Wall
and modern fireplace settings.
Fusing the latest in innovative gas fire technology and unique organic
shapes this range best reflects our combined talents, and all of our products are manufactured
entirely in the United Kingdom by craftsmen. We hope you enjoy
viewing this exciting new collection.
Jilly Swan
Jilly Swan studied sculpture under Roger de Gray at the City &
Guilds of London Art School, and went on to win the prestigious Madame Tussaud's
Young Sculptor of the Year award. Her career took her abroad for
many years, working as a muralist and interior designer in Paris and Sweden,
and her interest in architecture grew when she bought and restored an
ancient windmill in Portugal.
Returning to London, she set up and managed an architectural salvage
business before moving to the Kent with her young son. |
